Raymond Evison Clematis 'Elpis'
- A superb clematis whose flowers hold their colour well with only minimal fading, 'Elpis' is a compact variety offering real oomph in the garden, wherever it's found.
- Coloured like the finest Burgundian red, 'Elpis' grows to just over one metre in height, making it the perfect pick for an obelisk in a patio pot or a sunny pathway border.
- Straightforward to grow and easy to look after, this clematis is hardy enough to withstand whatever winter throws its way. Just give it an appropriate prune each year and you're good to go.
- Sporting two flowering flushes, one in early summer and a second at summer's end, this clematis produces its flowers in abundance (which is just how we like it).
- 'EviGsy154'
- Bred by the iconic Raymond Evison at his Guernsey nursery.
- Please note: our climbers are pruned back each winter, and some during the summer, so you may find at certain times of year they do not cover the whole 90cm cane. This is intentional to ensure the best growth when you plant out.
