  • The tree develops a broadly oval crown of deeply-dissected foliage, destined to stand out wherever it's planted. Freeman maples are a hybrid between red maples (Acer rubrum) and silver maples (Acer saccharinum).
  • For the best autumn colour, plant your tree in full sun. Generally speaking, this tree is low-maintenance and easy to grow, requiring little by way of additional care once planted (save for pruning to restrict overall size).
