'Big Devil' Grafted Chilli Pepper Plant

  • Make a deal with the devil and he's going to bring the heat! Measuring at around 2,000 SHU, 'Big Devil' chillies are comparable to jalapeno peppers, meaning they're hot enough to give your cooking a nice kick, without that being a kick to the face or nether regions. In other words, the perfect sweet spot.
  • This plant has been grafted for improved vigour and disease resistance, meaning you can rely on it to perform and it won't let you down. Plus, it's super easy to grow - just make sure to wear gloves and don't rub your eyes...
  • With a pleasing upright habit and relatively compact stature, you can grow 'Big Devil' not only in beds and borders, but also in a container or planter on a sunny patio. It will also grow nicely in a greenhouse.
  • Slice and use as a fiery garnish, pickle in vinegar or incorporate into your pasta sauces for some extra oomph.
  • Top tip: feed your chilli plant weekly throughout the growing season once the dainty white flowers start to appear. A general-purpose tomato feed is ideal.
